The first step to setting up the Milestone Schedule module is to define your Milestones from Tools > Job Control Tables.
Right-Click to add/edit milestones from the Job Milestone list (below).
The Milestone Edit screen (below) will appear:
Description: The name of the milestone.
Short Desc: The abbreviated description (limited to 4 characters) used on the tabs of the schedule list and as column heads for the job report.
Always Include: Option to always add the milestone for a job even when no estimated hours are present. This is commonly used for milestones that don't require a predetermined amount of time such as "QC Check"
Active: Switch to deactivate a milestone
Hours/Day: The amount of resource hours per day used to calculate the Schedule Load report.
