Standard Job Ticket

Presidio includes a Standard Job Ticket with a variety of options that can be configured in System Settings.  The Standard Job Ticket includes:

  • Job Header Information
    • Customer Contact Info
    • Job Description
    • Due Dates
    • User Defined Header Fields
    • User Defined Dates
    • Special Instructions
  • Part Information
    • Part Description
    • Part Labels (user defined fields)
  • Form Information (requires an estimate)
    • Form Summary Specs (sizes, colors, etc.)
    • Operation detail specifications
    • Operation Memos and Remarks
  • Non-Stock & Inventory Item Summary
  • Cost Center Schedule Summary
The standard job ticket can be accessed from an estimate, during an estimate to order transfer, from a job and from Shopnet.  The standard job ticket is an 'output' only report.  Any changes to the ticket will need to be made to the corresponding estimate or job.

Microsoft Word Job Ticket
Presidio's integration with Microsoft Word can also be used to create a Job Ticket. The Word Job Ticket is a customized document that can include:
  • Job Header Information
    • Customer Contact Info
    • Job Description
    • Due Dates
    • User Defined Header Fields
    • User Defined Dates
    • Special Instructions
  • Part Information
    • Part Description
    • Part Labels (user defined fields)
The Word ticket cannot include the following:
  • Form Information (requires an estimate)
    • Form Summary Specs (sizes, colors, etc.)
    • Operation detail specifications
    • Operation Memos and Remarks
  • Non-Stock & Inventory Item Summary
  • Cost Center Schedule Summary
The most important element of a Word Job Ticket is typically the user-defined Part Labels.  The free form capabilities of the Word Job Ticket require each be created individually from scratch.  The formatting of a Word ticket uses standard Mail Merge Form Field Codes and Switches.  2 hours of Word formatting and configuration are included as part of the Job Control setup.  After 2 hours, customization and consulting is available at $95 per hour.

Custom Job Ticket
An interactive custom job ticket can be programmed to your unique requirements and design specifications. A custom job ticket can include a combination of estimate specifications, job information and user defined fields and controls, including: text boxes, radio buttons, check boxes and other dynamic utilities. The nature of a custom job ticket requires precise programming specifications and is usually designed after several months of acclimation to Estimate and Job Control. Most custom tickets are programmed to run in a web browser. A typical Custom Job Ticket will require 25-50 hours of consultation, specification review, analysis, programming and testing. A Custom Job Ticket requires Tier I programming available at $150 per hour.
