Digital Copier / Duplicator Calc 09, and Digital Paper Calc 11, can estimate:

• Any combination of 1 and 2-sided originals, and 1 and 2-sided copies.
• Any combination of color, and black-and-white copies.
• Multiple paper types in the same estimate.

GETTING STARTED

Digital Press OP Definition

• Define a Digital Copier / Duplicator (Calc 09) for each of your digital presses.
• Enter Meter Charge for Black, and Meter Charge for Color.
• Check “Set Originals from Digital Paper”.
• Complete the remaining entries.

Digital Paper OP Definition

• Define a Digital Paper (Calc 11) operation for each type of paper used on your Digital Presses; ex: standard bond, cover, colored separators, tabs, etc.
• Check “Digital Paper”.
• Complete the remaining entries.

Digital Estimate

Paper

• Enter a digital paper operation for each type of paper and copy type (1s:1s, 1s:2s, 2s:1s, 2s:2s) in this Estimate.
• For each paper, enter the Number of Originals and select the copy type:
  • 1s:1s for 1-sided Originals and 1-sided Copies
  • 1s:2s for 1-sided Originals and 2-sided Copies
  • 2s:1s for 2-sided Originals and 1-sided Copies
  • 2s:2s for 2-sided Originals and 2-sided Copies

Note: a separate paper operation is required for each copy type

Press

• Enter the appropriate digital press operation.
• Default clicks for the digital operation are displayed for all black copies. For color copies, enter the correct number of color clicks on the 1-sided and/or the 2-sided lines, as needed.
